Commander Michael Posey is an active-duty US Naval Flight Officer. He has served in various carrier-based flying assignments in the E-2C Hawkeye and F/A-18F Super Hornet. He has flown in combat in the US Central Command area of responsibility, served as a plans and exercises officer for the US 7th Fleet (Western Pacific) area of responsibility, and holds a subspecialty in Information Systems and Operations. He holds master’s degrees from the University of Florida, Air University, and the US Army War College. He currently serves on the US Army War College faculty.
