Lieutenant Colonel Olko joined the Polish Armed Forces in 1988 and after four years of study he graduated from Military Academy as a radar engineer. He served, among other functions, on various national positions as a radar engineer, Commander of Radar Company, Track Production Officer and Master Controller. Starting August 2009 he was posted for three years as a Fighter Coordinator at CAOC Uedem and participated in many exercises and OUP (Lybia). Lt Col Olko also holds a Master of Science in the field of the Environmental Protection from the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow. In August 2022 he has joined the Assessment, Coordination & Engagement branch at the JAPCC in Kalkar.
