Squadron Leader David Tucker has served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) since 1987. He spent most of his career as a Weapons System Officer on the RAF Tornado GR1 and GR4, and completed an Exchange Tour with the German Air Force flying the Tornado ECR. He completed a MLitt in Strategic Studies at the University of Aberdeen in 2004, winning the Gordon Shephard Memorial prize that year for his essay published in the AirPower Review on European Defence Integration. He has finished a staff appointment at HQ Allied Air Command in Ramstein and currently serves in CAOC Torrejon.
